Some 2010 model year Tacoma vehicles equipped with the 2TR-FE engine may exhibit a front exhaust pipe catalyst rattle noise and/or MIL ?ON? condition with DTC P0420 (Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold) stored in the Engine Control Module (ECM) (SAE Term: Powertrain Control Module/PCM).
