The rear climate doesn’t turn on unless I manually turn it on after starting the car. It’s called a tri-climate zone system for a reason. VW swears this is how it works. For a family car I guess it’s ok to forget that the kids need air or heat when you turn on the car unless you want to do it manually each time. The other vehicles on the lot turned on the rear system upon starting. Hell even Kia’s third zone turns on when the car turns on. The engineers claim this is how it functions. But, only one other complaint so far on this site Either people aren’t aware how a tr-zone works or mine isn’t working properly.
