This is not an ornately designed car. The external swag is limited to silver hubcaps and fake chrome strips along the door panels. And yet, EVERYTHING FALLS APART! In the four years that my girlfriend has owned this car we've had to replace two hubcaps, four "VW" hubcap logos and five pieces of fake chrome striping. It's like this car's proletariat heart cannot stand to be adorned. If the human body shed disease like this car sheds design cues we'd all live to be 1,000 years old.
