Tiguan

  • Automatic transmission
  • 101,000 miles

I bought the car April 2, 2018. by May I noticed that i could hear sounds from the engine area after i shut the car off. some days the sound went on for longer time periods or sounded like it went off and then came back on and went back off. After discovering a major oil leak, i took it into be fixed and had them check the fans (the dealer was the only one who would touch the oil leak) so it cost me an arm and a leg to get the fans fixed as well!!! so far, in less than a year, i have sunk about $4000 into this car and now experienced the timing tensioner issue which ruined the valves so the whole engine needs to be replaced which is another $6500!!!!! and i missed the deadline for the class action suit :(
