Windshield is original and moves when pushed on, very hard to see unless you are putting something on windshield like I was. This car had been to a dealer many times since new and nobody ever saw this issue. It leaked enough that the headliner was destroyed from the water, a front impact crash would probably send the windshield flying. This was a problem and was usually fixed under warranty I was told by the dealer. Just because it was not seen that does not mean it was not a manufacturer defect.

Several months ago after a day of hard rain I found two inches of water in the driver's side floor well. More recently after a heavy rain I discovered water in the back seat floor well. I run my car through the car wash one or two times a week and there was no leaking.

Today I took the car in to the dealership for scheduled servicing and asked them to check for the problem. They said it was a loose windshield and recommended I contact another company to reseal the wind shield, The company, specialists in glass replacement, said the entire windshield would need to be replaced.

It will cost me several hundred dollars on top of the $148.50 cost for diagnosing the problem.

My car is out of warranty but I think this is a factory defect issue as I noticed other complaints about this issue in this model.
