Maintenance Manual of Volvo Cars officially declares that timing belt changing on 193000Km. Local Volvo maintenance service asked me to replace it on 90000Km and reason given initially from head of service was "Do you want to risk it" Later after discuss it with general manager was said that climate conditions of our country requires to replace the timing belt on 90000 Km.
Taking that to official Volvo complaints clearly said that the answer from General manager is right.
Complaint: If the climate conditions are responsible for several maintenance why that is not mentioned in Volvo manuals ?
