— Toyota is recalling 114 model year 2015 Scion tC Release Series 9 cars to fix problems with the rear suspensions.

Toyota says two facilities didn't do their jobs correctly and failed to tighten bolts and nuts in the rear suspensions. Those bolts and nuts are attached to the rear suspension arms and should have been properly secured before delivery to dealers.

The automaker says the loose bolts and nuts could cause the rear suspension arms to detach, which wouldn't be a pretty sight while driving at highway speeds. However, Toyota says it's unaware of any accidents or injuries caused by the loose hardware.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration hasn't said when the recall will begin. Toyota says affected owners of the 2015 Scion tC Release Series 9 should watch the mail for instructions to get to a dealer for replacement of the bolts, nuts, rear suspension arms and rear suspension member sub-assemblies.

Owners with questions should call Toyota customer service at 800-331-4331.
