— Ford is recalling more than 2,400 vehicles because the seatbacks may not hold in a crash. Recalled are 2017 Explorer, Ford F-150, F-250, F-350, F-450 and F-550 vehicles with bad welds used in the driver's side seatback frames.

The welds are located between the seatback and the seatback recliner mechanism and will leave a driver's seatback unsecured in a crash, although Ford says no crashes or injuries have been reported.

There are 2,195 recalled vehicles in the U.S., nine in federalized territories, 39 in Mexico and another 175 in Canada.

The recall is expected to begin June 5, 2017. Ford dealers will replace the driver's side seatback frames.

Owners may contact Ford at 866-436-7332 and refer to recall number 17C08.
