— Maserati is recalling about 430 model year 2015-2017 Quattroporte GTS cars equipped with V8 3.8-liter engines at risk of stalling.

Maserati discovered a low-pressure fuel pump resistor can fail when the current hits the maximum allowed by the resistor.

The resistor will fail and the low-pressure fuel pump will stop working and without a working fuel pump, the engine loses power and will eventually stall.

The automaker says the recall will begin November 13, 2017. Maserati dealers will replace the fuel pump resistor cable assemblies to prevent the resistors from failing.

Owners of 2015-2017 Quattroporte GTS cars may call 201-510-2369 and refer to recall number 359.
