2018 Jaguar E-PACE SUVs Recalled For Brake Hose Brackets

Posted in Recalls

— Jaguar is recalling 41 E-PACE SUVs to fix front brake hoses that can touch the tires, cause holes in the lines and lead to brake fluid leaks.

The automaker says the new SUVs have brackets that are used to secure the front brake hoses, but the brackets weren't installed properly, at least not good enough to hold the brake hoses in place.

The loss of brake fluid will cause drivers to notice longer stopping distances and illuminated warning lights.

Dealers for 2018 Jaguar E-PACE SUVs will replace any front brake hose brackets that allow the hoses to rub against the tires.

The recall is expected to begin April 23, 2018, but owners with concerns should call Jaguar at 800-452-4827 and refer to recall number H074.
