— Audi is recalling 12 model year 2018 Audi A5 Sportback and 2017-2018 Audi A4 allroad vehicles because the passenger airbag module mounting screws may not have been properly tightened.

The airbag can fail to deploy properly in a crash and leave occupants less protected than they should be.

The recall is expected to begin January 26, 2019.

Audi dealers will inspect the airbag module mounting screws and tighten or replace them.

Audi A5 Sportback and Audi A4 allroad customers may call 800-253-2834. Audi's number for this recall is 69Y4.
