Audi TT and A3 Vehicles Recalled Over Fuel Leaks

Posted in Recalls

— Audi is recalling more than 1,100 model year 2018 Audi TT Roadster, TT Coupe, A3 Sedan and A3 Cabriolet vehicles because fuel could leak and cause engine compartment fires.

The fuel hose quick connectors may detach from the fuel supply lines in the engine bays.

The same connector problems caused Volkswagen to recall Golf R cars for dealers to secure the fuel line connections, the same thing Audi dealers will do to the TT Roadsters, TT Coupes, A3 Sedans and A3 Cabriolets.

Owners will be contacted beginning December 20, 2018. If you have questions about the recall, call Audi at 800-253-2834 and use recall reference number 20BK.
