— BMW is recalling 111 vehicles in two recalls, one for 108 vehicles with rear upper control arms that may break.
The 2019 BMW X6 sDrive35i, X6 xDrive35i, X6 xDrive50i and X6M vehicles have rear upper control arm pivot bolts that might not have been properly hardened.
A driver will have trouble keeping the vehicle under control if the upper control arm fractures, a problem BMW will fix by replacing both rear upper control arms.
The recall should begin November 12, 2018, but owners with questions should call BMW at 800-525-7417.
Separately, BMW is recalling three model year 2013-2015 BMW 760Li vehicles because the engine control units may have incompatible software programmed during service visits.
The bad software can cause the vehicles to stall while driving, a problem dealers have already repaired in the three vehicles.
The two recalls were ordered near the same time BMW recalled 1.6 million vehicles after numerous car fires.
