— General Motors is recalling 94 model year 2018 Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana vans because of problems with the tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMSs).
GM says the systems may not have been calibrated correctly, causing the warning lights to illuminate when tire pressures reach 37 PSI, not 41 PSI. This could cause a driver to have less time to react to low tire pressure.
Chevy and GMC dealers will check if the PSI information on the remote control door lock receiver and tire placard match, and if the information is different the receiver will be reprogrammed. However, GM doesn't know when the recall will begin.
Express and Savana owners with questions should call Chevrolet at 800-222-1020 or GMC at 800-462-8782. GM's number for this recall is 18255.
