— Maserati is recalling 62 model year 2018 Maserati Quattroporte, Ghibli and Levante vehicles because of welding problems associated with the frames.
Multiple automakers have issued recalls recently due to lousy welds, and Maserati's welding problem is as dangerous as any.
The automaker says the welds on the front sub-frame can break and cause a complete loss of vehicle control.
The Quattroporte, Ghibli and Levante recall is expected to begin July 8, 2018, when Maserati dealers will replace the sub-frames.
