— BMW is recalling 27 model year 2020 BMW X3 M40i and X4 M40i vehicles because the steering rack pinion teeth may break under load and send the vehicles out of control.
And the government rightly says, "A loss of steering control increases risk of a crash"
About 20 vehicles are recalled in the U.S. and another seven are recalled in Canada.
BMW says the owners have been notified so they can get the vehicles to their dealerships to have the steering gears replaced.
