— Ford is recalling more than 100,000 F-Series Super Duty trucks equipped with LED headlights and high-series daytime running lights.

The 2018-2019 Ford F-Series Super Duty trucks have incorrectly configured body control modules that control the daytime running lights.

Ford says the running lights do not revert to parking light intensity when the daytime lights are on and the master lighting switch is in the low-beam setting.

Failure of the running lights to revert to parking light intensity in a violation of federal safety standards.

The automaker didn't explain a lot about the truck recall, but Ford is unaware of any crash or injury reports related to the lights.

About 86,296 F-Series trucks are recalled in the U.S. and 14,079 are recalled in Canada.

All the trucks were built in Kentucky, with the 2018 F-Series Super Duty trucks built from May 1, 2017, to July 13, 2018, and the 2019 models were manufactured March 5, 2018, to October 8, 2019.

Ford dealers will update the body control modules, but the automaker didn't say when the recall will begin.

If you own one of the trucks and want to learn more, call Ford at 866-436-7332.

The Ford recall reference number is 19C10.
