— Honda has recalled 10 SUVs because of missing metal welds in the upper frame members.
The 2019-2020 Honda Pilot and 2019 Passport SUVs have already been inspected and only three 2019 Pilots were delivered to customers prior to Honda finding the problem.
Each of those was inspected and appropriate welds were found with no further action required.
The remaining seven SUVs were in dealer inventory where two of were discovered with missing welds. Those vehicles will be replaced with new SUVs.
Honda says the problem was caused by incorrect programming of a robotic welder.
