2007 Acura TL battery sometimes drains completely if the vehicle is not used for 2 or more days (nothing left on). Some electronics must not be shutting down and continue draining the battery. Dealer claims it's normal that if you go on a trip your car might not start if it hasn't been used in a few days which is preposterous. Afraid to leave car at airport when traveling. I've had to bring the vehicle in twice in the last 12 months. First time they replaced the battery; last time they could find nothing drawing power. Web search reveals lots of people having this problem. Dealer admitted they're replacing lots of batteries - but that doesn't fix the problem.

The contact owns a 2007 Acura TL. While driving approximately 65 mph, the vehicle stopped and the key would not release from the ignition. Also, the vehicle doors would not unlock. The engine restarted after several attempts and stalled. All the instrument panel warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was towed to an authorized dealer, but they could not determine the cause of the failure. The technician stated that the computer was wet from an unknown substance and the failure could possibly recur. Currently, the vehicle is undergoing diagnostic testing and the defective computer is being replaced. The contact was concerned of the safety risk involved. The failure and current mileages were 14,000.
