The automatic door lock function is either greyed-out in the MMI screen or is set to ?ON?, but the vehicle does not lock automatically. The doors can be locked manually with the door lock button. No DTCs are stored. It is possible for the ?lock when driving? (Auto-lock) setting to not function correctly as a result of a software error or incorrectly-set adaptation set by the factory when the vehicle went through rework. The central locking system of the vehicle functions normally when this condition is present.
