This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Audi dealer.
Audi has an extended warranty that covers Audi A 4 models 2.0L TFSI engine years 2005, 2006, 2007. Which ours falls under that category. The vehicle was sputtering and hesitating and was very dangerous on highway so we took into Prestige Imports in Lakewood CO. They determined camshaft & cam follower and fuel pump worn and going out and said that Audi has extended warranty on these and we are still at the right amount of miles. The warranty goes to 120,000 miles.
After being at the shop for four days, Prestige called and said that Audi of America will not fix. they said it is not "worn" enough to fix. We have tried to call them and they are not returning our calls. We have the Warranty letter and email from them that stated that it would be covered but now they are not responding and are saying they will not cover this. They are not honoring their word on their extended warranty and we cannot even drive the car until it is fixed which is about a $4,000 repair.
