Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 37 number 13-82 dated January 23, 2013. There is no customer complaint about the gearbox. The gear lever display flashes. The following message is shown: "gearbox problem, journey can be continued with restrictions". DTCs are stored in the gear shift control module, J587 (address word 81). New software in the gear shift control module addressed the condition.
