Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 37 number 13-06 dated May 13, 2013. There is no customer complaint about the gearbox. The gear lever display flashes. The following message is shown: "gearbox problem, journey can be continued with restrictions". This is a generic message in the instrument cluster that a transmission fault has occurred and Limp Home Mode might be activated if the malfunction continues. DTCs are stored in the gear shift control module. New software in the gear shift control module addressed the condition.
