Customer may complain that the seat pneumatics (side bolsters and lumbar support) actuate without any input from the customer. This condition can occur when the vehicle is driven at high altitudes or when the outside temperature fluctuates. DTCs may be present in the front seat pneumatics control modules, J873 and J872 (address words 88 and 89) or in the rear seat pneumatics control modules (in certain A8 models only), J875 and J874 (address words 8A and 8D).
