Before any SVM updates, checks, adaptations, or replacements are made to the comfort system central control module, J393 (address word 05), this bulletin must be observed. Service Key functionality has been disabled in the comfort system central control module for this specific VIN because of a customer complaint of a chirping sound. The sound originates from the KESSY antenna, and when Service Key is disabled, the sound subsides.
