Summary
Some on-board diagnostic (OBD) functions do not fully meet certain regulatory requirements. Consequently, the MIL may not illuminate when a misfire event occurs. This issue has no impact to tailpipe or evaporative emissions. Install updated engine control module (ECM) software.
