Tamara airbags. My car has both airbag lights on and there is no recall on it at all and it has not been in an accident at all. I received a warranty extension but with conditions. Conditions were if it's not the particular fault they will charge me $200 just for a scan. And then some more to actually fix the issue. I do not want to take it in due to that issue. I don't have $200 to give up like that.

The contact owns a 2006 BMW 325I. While driving approximately 10 mph, the passenger side air bag warning indicator illuminated. The contact placed a briefcase with a laptop on the seat and the system warned that the passenger side air bag was off. The warning indicator first illuminated in February of 2018 and flashed on and off. Currently, the air bag indicator remained permanently illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and stated that the contact must pay for diagnostic testing. The contact also mentioned receiving tsb number: Sib-01-09-14 (passenger air bag seat occupancy sensor 063) limited warranty extension. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 130,000.

BMW 325ci 2006 front left adaptive headlight wiring deteriorates over time. This cause the wiring to crack and fail. The front left headlight failed while driving, creating a dangerous situation for the driver and others on the road. When the wiring fails the driver cannot display turn signals, use high beams or any headlight functions. BMW does not provide a solution or help to fix the issue. The vehicle was in motion at night when the headlight failed. The part is the front headlight igniter wiring harness. The failure happened inside a sealed compartment and is not exposed to any outside elements. This is a common issue, a google search will bring up multiple other cases of failure in other cars with pictures. BMW 335ci 2006 rear tail lights short out frequently while driving and do not display turn signals. A fault is shown on the dashboard. This happened at night while the vehicle was in motion and does not go away. The warning light is only displayed after the turn signal is turned on. BMW 325ci a front airbag warning light was displayed while driving and does not shut off. This happened when the vehicle was in motion and does not shut off. Bmw325ci a front seatbelt warning light is displayed on the dash periodically and does not shut off. The warning suggests there is a failure with the seatbelt. This happened when the vehicle was in motion.

I am frightened to death that the aforementioned recall of almost the entire SRS controls was not properly fixed. Duplicated warnings for both have been a daily problem and an exact replica of the symptoms prior. No accident to report, yet a completely valid potential cause for bodily harm! my other car is 16 years old and just was in for a new and active recall as the bags were deploying shrapnel and plastic....and she's 16 years old! I appreciate your help and consideration! looking forward to a prompt response! I'll be driving it to my nephew's wedding at fort campbell army base.

Takata recall. The contact owns a 2006 BMW 3 series. When the contact purchased the vehicle from one source motors (10633 northland dr ne, rockford, mi 49341, (616) 951-7068), he was not informed that the vehicle was included in NHTSA campaign number: 16V071000 (air bags) and NHTSA campaign number: 17V676000 (electrical system). Sharpe BMW (1010 28th St SE, grand rapids, mi 49508, (616) 452-5101) scheduled an appointment and indicated that the air bag repair had been completed, but did not address the repair for the electrical system. The manufacturer stated that the part was unavailable and had not provided a time frame to provide the part to the dealer. In addition, the air bag warning indicator remained illuminated, which was a safety concern. Sharpe BMW diagnosed that the floormat sensor needed to be replaced. The dealer and the manufacturer both stated that the vehicle was not included in any air bag recalls to cover the floormat sensor failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was not available. VIN tool confirms parts not available for NHTSA campaign number: 17V676000 and parts distribution disconnect for NHTSA campaign number: 16V071000.

Defective passenger air bag sensor mat. Even when an adult is sitting in the passenger seat, the air bag light turns on, as if the airbag is disabled. This is a common issue, as you can see from google search results: Https://www.google.com/search?Q=E90+replace+air+bag+sensor+mat&oq=E90+replace+air+bag+sensor+mat&aqs=chrome..69I57.12429J1J7&sourceid=chrome&ie=utf-8

I believe the seat sensor in my 2006 BMW 325I front passenger seat is faulty. The majority of the time, the light comes on that shows that my front passenger airbag is not on and also that the passenger is not buckled, whether they are buckled, or there isn't a passenger in that seat at all. Whether I am stationary or driving/moving at any speed, those warning lights are on, and will intermittently go off for short periods of time, then they come back on again. I am in a carpool so I frequently am the driver and I have someone in that front passenger seat. I am concerned that if in an accident, the airbag will not deploy causing injuries in the case of an accident. Newer models of the same car have this seat sensor on recall, so the 2006 should also be recalled.
