What is the holdup? luckily, I have not yet had any problem but, as noted in the recalls, failure of either of these systems could lead to a fire.

I spent $5,306 over 5 different bills from 4/1/2013 through 12/18/2015 which I will attach. As of today, 2/26/2018 the car is at the shop and a number of issues were presented including spark plug ignition, power steering in 3 points (reservoir suction hose, flush fluid), rear differential, pinion seal, both axle seals, needed reseal and rebuilt, motor valve covers, leak in suspension, and additional issues I could barely keep up with writing down as the mechanic was speaking them over the phone. He estimate $4,800 (this was midas, it would be more at the rockville BMW in rockville md).
