Purchased a 2011 BMW 328I used it came with extended warranty the first issue I had was in my foot well module I came in from work parked car in drive way woke up the next morning to no headlights turn signals and car would not start I contacted BMW because there was a recall on the foot well module took car in to get everything checked out BMW replaced foot well module said everything was ok drove car home thinking everything was ok parked car woke up the next morning car was completely dead no power so I took battery to get tested and had to replace the battery also the battery terminal cause saftey terminal went off from there I replaced everything that was needed car has power but will not crank had it diagnostics said it was relay replaced all the relays in the car no start same issue had the crank position sensor replaced still no start battery good looked online to see that the frm could cause electrical issues which is clearly the issue but all problems to this point got worse since module was replaced by BMW dealership and diagnostics by them stating everything was ok. Ive literally exhausted my options of buying and replacing parts and the problem persist when I contacted BMW about the recall on the electrical problems with the foot well module instead of them just replacing a module and saying my electrical was ok when it clearly was not

Car ran rough after 190 mile trip. On verge of shutdown. Dealer diagnostics revealed # 1 fuel injector as intermittent. Replaced #2 with #1 injector & problem remained. Replaced dme control unit & car ran fine for 200 + miles and reverted to rough engine & vibration. Independent shop diagnostics showed #1 injector which was again replaced. 8 months later, problem reoccurred. Returned to shop & suggested repair/replacement of dme control unit. Returned to BMW dealer as dme was warrantied. After 4 hrs of diagnostics, cable harness injection valve replaced & car tested for 25 miles. P/N:12-51-7-605-050 @ $565.54. Car has 30,323 miles. This is 5-6 times w/same problem.all failures occurred while on interstate or multi-lane streets @ 45-75 miles/hr.

My 2011 328I started having problems with the windshield washer motor, then the heater motor cutting in and out, during a severe thunderstorm, put all the windows down (keys hanging on a rack inside my house) shorting out the center console module. Then the car was put away for the winter, the battery would not keep a charge, tried starting in the spring and the ECU electrical board fried out, this was not covered by factory or auto insurance (total cost for repairs $4500) 'ultimate driving machine' is a lie! BMW 'burned motor wiring'.

My vehicle was making a squealing noise, was louder when running but sitting still. Took it to a garage and valve cover gasket was leaking apparently. I know this happens to cars but my BMW is a 2011 with only 65500 miles at the time.. costed me 1000 dollars to fix and a month before this they did a recall on the PCV valve and had it tore apart. Maybe it was someone's mistake when reassembling the PCV valve heater during recall at BMW dealer at towne auto in williamsville near buffalo NY?? idk but that is low mileage for this to happen

11/2016 - car stalled on the interstate and wouldn't restart. Complete power failure (engine, brakes, steering) - mechanic replaced a gas valve. The exact same problem happened twice more. BMW replaced the fuel pump and now wants to replace the control module. All this within 3000 miles. Seems like a major fuel system failure. 04/03/18-104795 miles on the vehicle it was brought in for -blower motor recall was performed due to the fact that yours was inoperable -PCV valve recall -check engine light was on and the cause was the fuel pump. Car has been driven 2766 miles in between the next visit. 09/28/18-107561 miles on the vehicle it was brought in for -A/C service due to the A/C not being cold enough. -sluggish running (cause was the differential pressure sensor) an emissions item that has nothing to do with the fuel pump and the vehicle also needed the (charcoal canister) replaced, also an emissions item. Car has been driven 487 miles 10/23/18-108048 miles on the vehicle it was brought in for -AWD/ABS/emergency ebv light is on-( this is controlled by the vtg module) I'm not getting a signal from this module. After inspecting what we could of the module that is when the technician found that there was water in the passenger rear floorboard. -fuel pump message on the screen (cause is the ekps module) the module controls what the fuel pump does. If this module is malfunctioning then the fuel pump isn't operating properly resulting in the 'fuel pump' message on the screen. It is the same issue, yet they have "fixed" two different parts of the fuel system already. What are the odds that a third, even more expensive part would fail so soon?

Blower motor recall and PCV valve recall. Hello, I got a recall notification in the E-mail for the PCV valve and the blower motor. I had already taken my car into BMW previously to have my vehicle worked on by BMW and carmax for problems on these parts and relating parts because they were not working properly. I was wondering if you could please take a deeper dive into my issue. BMW has said they will only reimburse about $250 when I paid much more than that before for the parts directly affected and indirectly affected by faulty parts. I look forward to hearing back from you and appreciate all the help.
