?THE ENGINE WILL NOT START AND THE DME IS NOT RESPONDING. The engine does not crank or start and various Check control messages may be displayed. When performing diagnosis with ISTA Next the DME is not responding. Fault: S 0392 - No communication with engine electronics is displayed. Many other modules will have CAN faults stored due to missing messages from the DME (transmitter). Fuse 83 (5A) is open. When the turbocharger coolant pump is activated by the DME, the initial starting current could briefly exceed the 5A rating of Fuse 83 causing this fuse to blow. If this occurs the engine will stop and cannot be restarted.
