Summary
THE SMART OPENING/CLOSING TAILGATE FUNCTION IS INOPERATIVE. Vehicles with comfort access and without rear trailer tow hitch; the contactless tailgate smart opening/closing function using foot motion is INOPERATIVE. The heat insulation on the rear bumper partially blocks the top and/or bottom sensor signal, which prevents foot movement detection.
