"SERVICE ACTION: CHECK AND REPLACE THE LEFT REAR AXLE SHAFT. The left rear output shaft may break. This could cause damage to the surrounding components at the left rear of the vehicle. AFFECTED VEHICLES This Service Action involves certain i8 vehicles produced October 21, 2015 to November 4, 2015. Vehicles which require this Service Action to be completed will show it as "Open" when checked either in AIR, the ""Service Menu"" of DCSnet (Dealer Communication System) or with the Key Reader. Rear axle shafts marked with production date code 13-10-15 or 19-10-2015 have been improperly manufactured."
