This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that the park assist chime is going constantly after taking the vehicle out of park and will stop when driving above 5 miles per hour or when put back in to Park. Technician should inspect the front License Plate. Technician will remove the plate and evaluate, if the concern is gone, inspect the plate for being bent.
