Summary
Emission - General Motors has decided to conduct a Voluntary Emission Recall involving certain vehicles. Certain vehicles may have a blockage of the Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) passage in the camshaft cover. If a vehicle has this condition, crankcase pressure may progressively increase to the point where it could cause the engine to run roughly, the malfunction indicator lamp (check engine light) to illuminate and engine damage to occur. Dealers are to inspect the camshaft cover and replace if a blockage is present in the PCV passage.
