This Preliminary information communicates to the dealer if there is a Service Power Steering message illuminated on Driver Information Center (DIC). There will be no driveability or steering related issues other than the message. Upon a GDS2 scan check DTC C0051 SYM58 (Steering Wheel Angle Sensor Performance) will be stored in the  K43 Power Steering Control Module. If there are no driveability or steering issues as mentioned above, then clear out the DTC. Engineering is working on a permanent solution. As more information becomes available this PI will be updated or advanced to a bulletin.
