The Preliminary Information communicates that avehicle may come into the dealer with a SES light on and code P0446 set in Engine Control Module. Dealer is instructed to inspect the EVAP air inlet pipe to the EVAP canister for dust intrusion. If dust intrusion is found dealer is instructed to clean the air inlet pipe and filters and replace the EVAP canister.
