Summary

16189-01 - Service Update (Service Procedure Revised). Certain vehicles may have an electronic steering column lock ESCL) module installed that does not require the component. If the ESCL is not removed, the lock bolt can potentially move out of its position and lock the column. Inspect and, if present, remove the ESCL module.
