This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicle that may have static on AM band with brake applied. Technician will need to change the radio antenna preference on the radio from local to distant. Also check the setting to ensure the radio is not in Alternate Frequency. If condition is still present, check the two large body grounds G401 and G402. If the concern is still present replace the center high mounted stop light assembly with part number 15930589.
