This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that have an intermittent fluctuation of Instrument Panel Cluster gauges, no crank, Service Engine Soon light on, various Instrument Panel Cluster warning indicators and messages, or technicians may find that there is no communication to various High Speed LAN modules. Technician will need to inspect the engine wire harness for a short to ground. Technician will need to repair and damaged wires found. On some vehicles technician will need to inspect the Transmission Control Module connector for circuit 2500 to be backed out of the connector.
