After receiving a rental vehicle, less than 24 hours later, the consumer received a call saying the vehicle was ready for pick-up, as the repairs has been made. Also, the vehicle would suddenly lock on its own.

On March 27, 2014, my wife was in an accident at an intersection with another vehicle. The 2007 Chevrolet - Cobalt received major damage to the front of the vehicle. The air bags did not deploy. Luckily, my wife was not injured but could have been fatality #14 or #304 depending on the report you read regarding the airbag deployment failures and ignition problems of the Cobalt. The insurance "totaled" the car. I want to file the police report, insurance report and photos to the N.H.T.S.a.. safety devices placed in vehicles should work or don't advertise safety of the vehicle and charge the consumer for products that don't work. The consumer did not feel safe driving the vehicle. Also, the gas tank had to be replaced due to a leak caused by a defective seal, that was recalled. The consumer had the seal replaced, prior to the recall. However she was denied reimbursement, because the work was not performed at a GM dealership. The blower motor was replaced multiple times, due to it causing a leak on the passenger side of the vehicle.
