Summary
15674 - CUSTOMER SATISFACTION PROGRAM. VEHICLES MAY HAVE UNDERWENT REPAIRS TO THE BATTERY CHARGING SYSTEM AT THE FACTORY AND MAY NOT HAVE THE CONNECTIONS OF THE BATTERY CABLES FULLY SECURED. IF THESE CONNECTIONS ARE LOOSE, THE CUSTOMER MAY EXPERIENCE PROBLEMS WITH THE BATTERY CHARGING SYSTEM, MAY RECEIVE A BATTERY CHARGING MALFUNCTION MESSAGE ON THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER, MAY RECEIVE A LOW BATTERY INDICATOR ON THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER, OR A DEAD BATTERY. IF THE BATTERY CABLE CONNECTIONS REMAIN LOOSE OVER TIME, EXTREME HEAT CAN BE GENERATED AT THESE CONNECTIONS AND COULD BE A FIRE HAZARD. DEALERS ARE TO INSPECT, AND IF NECESSARY, SERVICE THE BATTERY CABLE CONNECTIONS AT THE FUSED JUNCTION BLOCKS AND THE GENERATOR OUTPUT TERMINAL.
