All involved vehicles, equipped with pickup box delete, may have a condition in which the fuel filler pipe ground strap terminal may not be attached to the vehicle box mount. If the condition is present, a potential electrostatic discharge, generated when refueling the vehicle, may not be grounded, increasing the risk of fuel vapor ignition resulting in a vehicle fire. Dealers will install the fuel filler pipe ground terminal.
