This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about customers that would like to install Regular Production Option Code NPP (Performance Exhaust System) to a Stingray that was produced without the option. Do not attempt to add Regular Production Option Code NPP (Performance Exhaust System) to a car that was not manufactured with it. General Motors does not support the software changes that are required.
