This Preliminary Information communication advises the technician that the LCT1000 6 Speed Allison, 8L90 and 8L45 8 speed automatic transmission as well as the transmission control module is on restriction through General Motors Product Quality Center. Dealer will need to contact General Motors Product Quality Center for further assistance.
