This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that may have reduced engine power message on the Driver Information Center. If the technician does not find any Diagnostic Trouble Codes or any loss of engine power the concern may have been induced due to the vehicle being run out of fuel. This message will remain on until the battery has been disconnected for a period of five minutes.
