Driving last night from work to home at [xxx] around 7pm, I started getting messages in my cluster such as service stabilitrak, service traction control and engine power is reduced. Just suddenly my car lost all the power and throttle when I was travelling in a highway around 70 mph on the second fastest lane. It was very scary and dangerous situation once my throttle was complete unresponsive and could find myself at the middle of the highway at 5mph. My instinct was to turn on the hazard lights and try to move the car to the slowest lane as safe as possible. I feel lucky that no one hit me in the back and I consider that I was lucky to have this problem at this time of the evening. Luckily I was able to take the exit [xxx] and from there park the car to evaluate it. I could not find any visible defect either internally or on engine compartment. I turned off the engine and on several times and still had the same cluster messages and derated power. I was still able to drive the car safely to the parking lot of [xxx] looking for a safer place to wait for my insurance company. When waiting for the aaa operator I was able to re-start the car with no display message but only with the engine check light on. I drove the car in the parking lot and noticed the car seemed to be ok. Once on that time I was still waiting for the aaa operator I decided to take [xxx] and I was able to safe arrive home. Checking the symptom I had in google and youtube I learned about the problem with the negative battery cable which is already known by NHTSA and GM. I hope my incidence can be investigated and a decision for recall be taken.I don't see any difference to what experienced with the ignition switch topic therefore this issue should be considered as potential recall. I contacted Chevrolet customer service on 1-10-18 and spoke to a supervisor. Reiterating call. The vehicle has 35000 miles on it. It is out of warranty because of purchase date. On 4 different occasions this is what happened. #1) Nov 18 lights were on, flashers were on and radio was on while the vehicle was in the garage and key was in the off position #2) Dec 2018 same as #1 #3) Dec 2018 vehicle was running with the key in the off position in the garage. By running I mean the engine was running and exhaust fumes were everywhere. #4) Jan 2019. Same as #3. this is very dangerous and could have started a fire or carbon dioxide poisoning could've occurred. The representatives told me there is no recalls which I already knew and stated they would not pay for a repair. I told them about a service bulletin, they denied there was one. There are two numbers PI1329(date 0ct 14) and a NHTSA bulletin ( id number 10114279) date Oct 14. I'd appreciate your prompt attention to this serious matter and would like this fixed for free at the dealer. Can you contact Chevrolet and tell them there should be a recall

Car overheating and losing power over 40mph, diagnosis: Transmission cooler line break June 2018: Problem: Spedometer started malfunctioning and car began sputtering on highway at 65mph, diagnosis: Transmission computer (input and output sensor) fried January 2019. Problem: Cooling draining extremely fast and car making gurgling noise (at all speeds), diagnosis: Water pump break, thermostat break, serpentine belt and 5. January 2019: Problem: Oil leak, diagnosis: Timing cover gasket need replacement

The Chevy eco Cruze has been giving me problems from the start. I was driving with the ac on and came to a signal light when the ac shuts of & comes back on. Also at the signal light I thaught I had gotten a tap from the back from another vehicle because the car jerked. Turned out no car behind me but car still jerks forward with foot all the way down on brake pedal. Next if I'm driving and slow down to make, let's say a left hand turn once I make the turn the car is sluggish as if it has trouble picking up speed. Happens all the time from a stopped position or if I slow down it takes for ever to pick up momentum. Making it scarey to merge or just be on the road. Also if I turn the radio up the lights will die or fade so I've replaced the alternator but it still does it. Ive checked connections wires you name it.

I was making a left turn and the steering wheel locked and the radio turned off, I barely made it before getting hit. The steering wheel unlocked and I turned into the first place I could. I turned the car off and tried to start it but the brake was locked and nothing was turning on when I pushed the button. Tried a few times and nothing. While sitting there for about 5 minutes the whole dash came on and I was able to start the car. The radio had been turning on and off a few times on this drive before this happened. But the radio has been doing this for some time.

Car looses speed can't give it gas has no pull! once you take it out of gear and put back in drive, works fine. Lights flicker on and off, on radio. Bought car in February with 49.000 miles on it drove to store came back out of store car was completely dead! made no sound, checked battery everything, 5 min later started rite up. This car does not feel safe to me, I wish I could return it.

A police report was not filed. There were no injuries. The contact was able to drive the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to paradise Chevrolet (6350 leland St, ventura, ca 93003). The manufacturer was contacted and did not assist. The contact experienced the same failure intermittently for four years. The vehicle was never diagnosed or repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 30,000.

The contact owns a 2013 Chevrolet Cruze. When the contact attempted to turn off the vehicle, it failed to turn off. In order to turn off the vehicle, the contact had to take the gear shifter out of the park position three times and then place it back in park. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The failure recurred numerous times. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer or an independent mechanic to determine the cause of the failure. The manufacturer was not contacted. The approximate failure mileage was 51,000.

Hello, this Sunday my 2013 Chevy Cruze while driving an alert came up saying that engine power reduced and other notices. The result was that the car lost power. Thankfully I was on a side street at the time at a slow speed. Most of my driving is on the highway and if this would have occurred at highway speeds which did occur to some people who posted on Chevy forums it could be fatal. GM will not acknowledge this issue and would not cover the cost to repair it. While driving down the highway at 70mph all electronics in the car quit working. No speedometer, odometer, etc. All warning lights lit up on the dash. Radio and heat quit working. Steering became more difficult. Turn signals quit working. Vehicle is in the shop and they have replaced 2 modules and are now getting into the instrument panel. Cost is currently at $1500 and issue is still not resolved.

Shortly after, the steering wheel returned to normal and the contact regained control. In addition, other error warning indicators illumianted as the window rolled up and down. The manufacturer and dealer were not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 71,000. The VIN was unavailable.

Since purchasing my car it has done strange things with what I thought was the breaks. When stopping at a light etc.. the car will jump forward.. sometimes only once and others it does it over and over until I accelerate again. I took it to the dealership where I purchased it. David maus in sandford fl. The service tech took a ride with me.. he stated that he's heard this from other Chevy Cruze owners and it's just what these cars do. It did demonstrate the jumping, thrusting forward while the service tech was driving. I was not happy with this answer but believed he knew what he was talking about. Yesterday I get in my car and it will hardly go. The service stabiltack light was on. Then every light on the dash came on. Obviously I understand things go bad on cars as it's 4 years old. But after reading hundreds of these complaints online I believe this is a problem with these cars that can be dangerous. And it's unbelievable to me that there is no recall after all the reports and complaints. When it jumps hops thrust forward you never know if it's going to be a little or a lot. This problem has been ongoing with no help from the certified mechanics. I put the date as 2013 because as I said it's been on going and now it's completely broken. Which could have been prevented had the mechanics helped me in 2013
