problem #2

Mar 262004

Impala 6-cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 20,000 miles
At least once a week the turn signals fail to work (ussually during rush hour of course). I have reported this to the dealer 3 times and they have been unable to get it to repeat this failure; and, thus, say it is very difficult to fix the problem if they can't see it happen. Last failure was 03/26/04. The car is still under warranty.

(reported on)

Impala 6-cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 41,500 miles
Turn signals worked intermittently. Took vehicle to dealer, and dealer did not know what caused the problem. Turn signals failed in both directions. To activate them, consumer would have to activate the hazard lights for a few seconds or cut the engine off.
