When the contact turned off and restarted the vehicle, the steering wheel unlocked. The dealer and manufacturer were not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was 136,327.

Eps (electronic power steering) went out randomly while stopped at a gas station. Steering wheel began to twitch and the electronic power steering goes in and out. Car was stationary, started, placed in reverse and moved from a parking spot to a gas pump. When I turned the vehicle off and back on, the eps was out. After cycling power a few times, the eps comes back. Once you turn off the car it goes back to not working. My year make and model were all a part of a recall for the eps, but GM states it does not apply to my VIN. No dealer will attempt to help fix this problem. This is ridiculous considering its the same problem that was already recalled for other vins of the same make year and model. See GM bulletin 14116 and dcs3206

The vehicle was taken to felix Chevrolet (3330 S figueroa St, los angeles, ca 90007) for the recall repair. Afterwards, the vehicle exhibited multiple failures. The vehicle was taken to back and forth to the dealer at least five times for multiple failures, including the door locks not working, the battery, the odometer numbers being erased, and the vehicle not starting. The dealer stated that the failures were due to the control module that needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failures. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 49,000.

I was on my way to work driving on the 405 freeway in California going around a ramp in my steering wheel locked up on me I hit the brake it released the next morning on my way back home from work I was on my way on the freeway so I accelerate on the gas and my steering wheel locked up as soon as I took my foot off the ignition gas it released. And just recently about 3 days ago today is November 7th so November 2nd on my way home from work all of this happened on my way to work in from work but on my way from work I went down to start my car and steering wheel starts shaking real bad start jerking real bad and from there other things to start happening to the car steering wheel starts shaking real bad as I put on my seatbelt the seatbelt sign will not go off and we'll make a beeping sound every few minutes also the total contraction sign also cut on and then for some reason I had a half tank of gas in my tank but the fuel light will come cut on and on the dash will save fuel low when I had just filled the tank

Multiple instances of the steering wheel becoming momentarily frozen in place resulting in loss of steering control, unable to turn the steering wheel. When this occurs a audible chime is heard coming from the dash. This occurs at both low speeds while turning and at high speed while on hiways making lane changes. Often this is accociated while under acceleration while making a turn at low speeds, lane changes at hiway speeds and occasionally when accelerating from a stop. This is not the torque sometimes felt in the steering from front wheel drive acceleration but a loss of steering control due to the loss of steering control due to the steering wheel becoming locked in place leaving the driver unable to move the steering wheel. It's like the power assist is turned off for a brief second momentarily resulting in hard steering before completely becoming unable to turn the steering wheel at all as if it's frozen in place. When this occurs an audible chime is heard alerting the driver. This has happened multiple times now. Very unsafe. There is a GM recall # N140115 recall bulletin # 14116 and NHTSA recall # 14V-153 covering my year vehicle for this car but am told it does not include my VIN ? well I'm experiencing the same issues as stated in the recalls. My car matches the years and make invloved. How can this recall not include my car. This has happens multiple times over the last 3 to 4 years and has recently become very appearant it is a safety issue and unsafe to drive. Please help.

I've had my car for almost three years. I've had multiple issues with it and the local dealership whiteheads Chevrolet where I had my recalls fixed is by far the worst dealership anyone could take their car too. I took them my car and they were going to fix the recalls the steering shaft inadequate support of U joint transmission shift cable steering loss of electric power steering they had my car for a couple days but when I got it back it seemed like nothing was fixed I took it back 3 different times for the same recalls the last time I picked up my car the airbag light came on all of a sudden I called them and told them about it they said to bring it in so I did they had it for another day I went back got it and drove straight home later that day I needed to go get my daughter some diapers I got in the car started it and the airbag light was on again I called the dealership told them what was going on the guy told me there was nothing they could do about it. I got upset called the main Chevrolet company made a complaint nothing was resolved. Well recently I was driving down the road with my infant and toddler in the car going 35mph and all of a sudden my steering wheel felt like it locked up took it to them asked them to look at the recalls again and they refused they said once the recall has been closed there was nothing they could do. So I have rarely been driving my car it did the same thing on 07/22/18 the steering was gone my car was still running no indicator lights came on I stopped put it in lark turned it off waited 10 mins started it and had no power steering I tried to drive it home and it would not accelerate. I didn't drive it for a couple days until yesterday and now the car shakes very badly like a (death wobble) no matter what speed and all of a sudden it feels like the whole front end is going to come right out from under the car.
