Summary
24500 - Service Update. Vehicles equipped with power adjustable driver or passenger seat cushion structures, may have a condition where the two front bolts that secure the track to the cushion, were hand started and not torqued to specification. If the bolts are not torqued to specification, the occupant may feel play in the seat and hear a rattle. Over time, the bolts may back out and increase the risk of injury to the seat occupant in a vehicle rear impact crash. Dealers are to do an inspection of bolt to determine if torqued to specification, replace bolt if necessary.
