While driving at approximately 60 mph vehicle lost power, and then it shut down, causing the vehicle to lose brakes, and power steering. Dashboard got completely blank. Owner took the vehicle to the dealer and contacted the manufacturer. Vehicle is currently out of warranty.

The consumer took the vehicle to the dealer for inspection, and the mechanic determined that computer has to be reset by the manufacturer. At this time the software had not been approved by the epa. The vehicle was operating as designed. The consumer was unsure if the system was working properly.
